Portrait of Leilani

I really enjoy painting and drawing portraits. This is a portrait of Leilani, a beautiful young Hawaiian woman in traditional pre-contact attire. She has modeled professionally for Randy Jay Braun who is one of Hawaii's premier photographers. Check out his website at www.randyjaybraun.com He does beautiful work. Leilani will be featured in more of my paintings in the future. This drawing is done with graphite on paper. The size is 8 x 10".

Hula Kahiko

This painting depicts the dancer in the ancient traditional style of dance called Hula Kahiko. This style of dance is more serious than the typical Hollywood or Nightclub style of dance. This is a small painting. It is 5 x 7" done with oil paint on panel.
